HAITI HURRICANE RELIEF & RESTORATION PLAN

GRACE INTERNATIONAL VISION TO BRING HOPE AND RESTORATION

HAITI NEEDS YOUR HELP! Hurricane Matthew, the most powerful Atlantic tropical storm in almost a decade, recently hit our country Haiti, and left a trail of destruction in its path. The impact of this Hurricane has greatly affected our already weaken infrastructure because most families is still in recovery mood from the 2010 earthquake and many people lost their precious lives. We desperately need food, medication, water, temporary shelter and long-term sustainability.  Please keep us in your prayers and help us recover. Donate Now

GRACE INTERNATIONAL INC. RESTORATION PLAN - THE STEPS WE ARE TAKING:

Special thanks to you, our supporters and partners, we've been delivering "family nutrition and hygienic kits" in Aquin, Anse-à-Veau, Grand-Goave. Then, as the Lord provides, we need to respond to the alarming calls of the people of Thiotte, Bainet, Cote-de-fer, Cayes-Jacmel all in the Southeast Region.

STEP 1IMMEDIATE RELIEF EFFORTS UNDERWAY

Thanks to the generosity of some of our friends and supporters, concerned with the health and safety of the Haitian people as well as spreading the good news of the Gospel of Christ, our emergency relief program is addressing the devastation in Haiti’s Southwest.  Several prayer groups from our churches have been sent to the devastated regions to minister the love of God with prayer and the comforting Words of God to each hurting family.

Our main focus is ensuring the safety of our children and families. Food, water supply, and medication for Cholera and infectious diseases are urgently needed to provide relief during this difficult time of recovery.  $75 covers the cost of food, water and Hygiene kits, as well as security and transportation to bring them. These supplies will be purchased locally in Port-au-Prince

STEP 2 – SHELTER AND HOME REPAIRS/REBUILDING HELP

We need Building and Mission Teams to come and help us restore the church and school roofs and walls where needed.  $1000 can provide materials to restore the roof of a small house to bless a family.

STEP 3 – MEDICAL CAPACITY AND PRESENCE IN THE MOST HIT DISASTER AREAS

GRACE HAITI PEDIATRIC HOSPITAL is already equipped with a great dedicated and motivated medical Team to give care to the children and all infected people who come to our hospital as well as to travel to the disaster areas to meet the needs of the hurting people. We estimate the cost to be $40 per family for transportation to the most hit mountainous regions, which include medicine, medical team transportation and lunch.  We are inviting doctors, nurses, church groups and all people with great and generous hearts to join with us in this effort to end the physical sufferings of these people.

STEP 4 – FARMING ASSISTANCE FOR REBUILDING FOOD PRODUCTION & WATER PROJECT

Help with seeds, fertilizer and small farming equipment (tools). Soon the emergency food relief will stop; the greatest help we can give them is the growing their own food production. We estimate the cost to be $300 per family.  We are in touch with experts in agronomy who we will ask to support our teams in this regard.  We hope to have teams work side-by-side with local people in this effort and we encourage people with agricultural backgrounds and professions to volunteer now that the bountiful US harvest is completed.

STEP 5 - CHILDREN’S EMERGENCY RESCUE AND BUILDING OF THEIR FUTURE

This storm considered as Haiti’s most devastating for decades has created many hundreds of more orphans. Orphans and children that still live with their distressed family in a displaced home environment need urgent assistance. Sponsorship and Scholarship of $25-50 per month per child are needed immediately. Please help provide for their school tuition and build their future. We also need to complete the Girls Transitional building to allow us to help more orphans in the Carrefour area by being able to move the older girls from the orphanage to the Transitional Home within the walls of our campus compound.

STEP 6 – FAMILY EMPOWERMENT: HELP WITH SKILLS TRAINING AND SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

The only way to win the battle against poverty, chronic dependency and starvation is to teach people how to fish instead of giving them a fish every day. When God’s people work together we can make a great difference.  We urge retired men and women with backgrounds in business to come and advise our people on improving their businesses or perhaps starting a business. We estimate $250 per family to start a small sustainable business.  In this regard, we are modeling our efforts on a program we have already begun which teaches business skills and also offers talks with American and Canadian entrepreneurs who offer their insight and encouragement on this program.

STEP 7 – THE LORD’S KITCHEN (5 DAYS PER WEEK FEEDING PROGRAM):

With nearly 50% of the country’s food production destroyed we expect an overflow of people including children come to the city. Without any job, home and assistance their situation will be much worse if God’s people close their heart and hands. We will feed them as the Lord provides. This is just a brief Summary of the steps Grace International feels led to take.  We invite our partners to join our effort to bless, relieve and restore the people of Haiti. Questions?  Please call me: 954-394-8929 or Jonny – 305-776-0650.  Grace International, Inc. 20401 NW 2nd Ave. Miami Gardens, FL  33169 - 305-231-1117.
